Hi,
My name is Susanne Karlfeldt and I’m a proud new member of the Happy Child Board.
My first contact with Barnhem and Happy Child was in 2015 when I spent 4 months at Barnhem as a volunteer.
I realized already before going there that this experience would probably affect me in many ways and on different levels. However, I could not foresee the huge impact that my four months in Muang Mai would have on my life.
Since I came back home after my volunteer period, I’ve returned to Barnhem many times just to fill up with the fantastic energy that I gain just by being in that environment.
To see the positive effects that come with having access to proper education, food, accommodation and tons of love is really heartwarming.
Now I’ve been honored with this position as a member of the board and I aim to use it in the best possible way to keep helping Barnhem and Happy Child in their dedication of making the life and future better for these children.
