Happy walk did it!

On December 17—53 days, 900 km and approx. $33,000 later—our Happy Walk heroes crossed the finish line as they reached Barnhem.

Excitement and anticipation hung in the air as we readied ourselves for the ride to Sarasin Bridge, the bridge between the mainland and Phuket, where we would meet up with them.
We had been waiting for a little while when the first voice broke through the air, declaring "I can see them!,” or rather "Hen puag-khao daai!,” at which point children and adults alike raced to catch up to them. Tears were shed as everyone hugged everyone—it was an amazing feeling!
Once we'd collected ourselves, we wanted to show our support for the group by accompanying them as they set out to walk the final kilometers to Barnhem. We were tired after only a few kilometers, phew!
